Day 3 of Special Delivery, Special Delivery Sentiments, and A Little Inspiration

I've got more sneaks and peeks of Special Delivery, Special Delivery Sentiments, and A Little Inspiration for you today. We're halfway through the February 2014 Papertrey Ink countdown. Time flies when you are having fun. Or in my case, when you've got daily deadlines...HA!

If you have been checking out my blog the last few days, you know I have three stamp sets coming out this month. Special Delivery features a plain delivery truck that can morph in to all sorts of useful vehicles.  I made it into an ambulance today for all your get well cards. The Special Delivery dies include a little die for the siren lights, so you can easily tack it on without masking. There are also little stamps for the headlight on Special Delivery truck and the siren light, so you can add some color and make them even more eye-catching.

The sentiment is a combination of two different ones from Special Delivery Sentiments and Healing Touch. This one is a bit cheeky, intended to find some humor in a bad situation. I remember being a kid and enjoying telling the tale of however I got my latest cut or scrape. As long as everybody is going to be OK, a little humor might make somebody giggle when they need it the most.

City Scene was used for the background here. I know there's been some chatter about combining Special Delivery and City Scene, so I wanted to demonstrate that. It goes well, particularly because City Scene has a multi-step stamp approach as well.

Next up, a moving truck. This one was first stamped in Orange Zest and then the lower half stamped again with Canyon Clay. There are two different stamps used to do this. No masking involved.

Also included in Special Delivery is a movement line stamp. I stamped it behind my moving van. Makes it look like the van is traveling fast. This movement is reinforced further with the use of Diagonal Addition dies and stamps in a gradient of color from blue to orange.

There are three "moving" themed sentiments included in Special Delivery. You could use them individually and have a lovely card. I used all three at once like bullet points on the USA map from Road Trip, accented with metal studs.

Switching over to A Little Inspiration, I have a card that features two of the sentiments today. We've got some great new speech bubble dies with Melissa's Sweet Speech. Some of them are the perfect size for these stamps.

I pulled supporting elements from Bubble Talk, Live Love Life, Get to the Point, Grand Ampersand, and Diagonal Additions. I really thought the "live love life" sentiment from Maile's set worked really well with all these encouraging sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by. More tomorrow. Even more inspiration below. If you are interested in adding any of these products to your collection, you've just got a few more days to wait. They'll be available to purchase on February 15th at 10 PM EST at www.papertreyink.com.
